Why we started Itinerary Diary
Itinerary Diary was founded in 2022 as a private travel house — small by design, personal by principle. We saw too many travellers handed the same fixed routes, the same rushed coaches, the same generic hotels, and we felt India and the wider world deserved to be experienced more thoughtfully than that. We set out to build something different: a house that treats every trip as a piece of authored work, kept and refined like a diary.

Our vision is for Itinerary Diary to be counted among India's most trusted names in bespoke, private travel — a house people return to, and recommend to those they love, because the experience felt genuinely theirs. We want to be known not for volume, but for care: for journeys remembered long after the traveller has come home.

Our mission is to design private, tailor-made journeys that are honest, seamless and quietly excellent — with no hidden charges, no fixed departures, and a real person accountable for every detail. We measure success not in bookings, but in the trust our travellers place in us and the memories they carry away.
How we plan — our philosophy
We begin by listening. Before a single hotel is suggested, we want to understand your pace, your tastes, who you are travelling with and what would make the trip feel like yours. From there, a named travel designer authors your itinerary from scratch — choosing the stays, the guides, the timing and the small touches that turn a trip into a memory. Nothing is templated; everything is considered. And because the plan is private, it stays flexible: if the mood changes on the road, so can the day.
Our commitment to you
When you travel with us, you are never a booking reference. You have a designer who knows your journey, a dedicated point of contact, and a 24x7 support line for the moments that matter. Every booking comes with a proper GST invoice and clear, all-inclusive pricing. We are a registered Indian travel house (GST and MSME registered), and we hold ourselves to the standard we would want for our own families — honesty first, always.
Looking ahead
With teams in Shimla, Delhi and an international office in Canada, we are steadily widening the horizons we design for — deeper across India's regions and outward to the world — while keeping the personal, unhurried service that defines us. As we grow, our commitment stays the same: fewer, finer journeys, each one authored with care.
