October to March is most comfortable for the climbs at Palitana, Girnar, Shravanabelagola and Shikharji — cool mornings ideal for the ascent. Summers are hot; the monsoon makes the steps slippery.
Palitana & Chaturmas
Through the four monsoon months of Chaturmas the Shatrunjaya temples observe a quiet period; we plan Palitana for the clear season and around Kartik Purnima in November.
Special occasions
Mahavir Jayanti (March–April) and the days of Paryushan and Das Lakshana (August–September) are deeply meaningful — we plan early, as the tirthas are busy.

What does a Jain pilgrimage tour cost?
Every yatra is custom-quoted per person and depends on your route, season, hotel choice and group size. As a guide, a private 2–3 day Palitana yatra typically starts from around ₹12,000–18,000 per person, a 5–7 day Gujarat or Rajasthan tirth circuit from around ₹22,000–38,000, and the pan-India Sammed Shikharji yatra (with flights) is quoted individually. Every trip comes with a clear GST invoice and no hidden charges.
