Emerald islands

The Andamans, blissfully unhurried

Scattered across the Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Islands feel like a different, gentler India — powder-white beaches, water in impossible shades of turquoise, coral reefs alive with colour, and a quiet that the mainland has long forgotten. For more than four years we have designed private island journeys for travellers who want the very best of the Andamans without the ferry-timetable stress.

We take care of the moving parts. A private car and pre-booked ferries carry you between the islands; you watch the sun set over Radhanagar, dive or snorkel the reefs off Havelock, drift the turquoise shallows of Neil, and feel the weight of history at Port Blair’s Cellular Jail. Between it all are long, empty beaches and slow island evenings.

Whether you dream of a secluded honeymoon, a family beach holiday with easy snorkelling, or your first scuba dive over living coral, your designer builds every day around you — which islands, which resorts, which experiences — so the Andamans unfold at your own blissful pace.

Tell us how you love to travel and we will send a tailored Andaman itinerary and quote, with no obligation and no hidden charges.

Andaman travel FAQs

October to May is the best time — calm seas, sunny skies and the clearest water for beaches, snorkelling and diving. December to April offers the finest underwater visibility. June to September is the wetter monsoon with rougher seas.

Four to five days cover Port Blair and Havelock; six to seven add Neil Island comfortably; seven to eight allow extra diving or Baratang. Island ferries mean it is best not to rush — we pace it well.

Every Andaman journey is private and customised, so we quote per person after learning your plans. Cost depends on trip length, resort category, season, ferries and the experiences you add — always with no hidden charges and a GST invoice.

By air to Port Blair (IXZ), with direct flights from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru and other cities. There are no direct international flights, so overseas visitors connect via the mainland. We handle every transfer and ferry.

By ferry — we pre-book premium, air-conditioned ferries between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil, and arrange private speedboat transfers where they help. You never have to queue for tickets.

Foreign nationals no longer need a separate permit for most tourist islands (a Restricted Area Permit was scrapped for key islands), though rules can change and some areas remain restricted. We check the current requirements and handle any paperwork.

Idyllically so — secluded beach resorts, private candlelit dinners, Radhanagar sunsets and turquoise water make it one of India’s most romantic island escapes.

Yes. The beaches are calm and shallow, snorkelling and glass-bottom boats are easy and fun, and we choose family-friendly resorts and keep the pace gentle.

Absolutely — Havelock and Neil have excellent centres offering introductory dives for complete beginners as well as certified and course dives. Non-swimmers can also try a guided sea walk.

Radhanagar on Havelock is the star — white sand and turquoise sea; Elephant Beach is best for snorkelling; and Neil’s Bharatpur and Laxmanpur are calm and beautiful. We match beaches to your plans.

The Andamans are peaceful and generally very safe, including for women and solo travellers. With private transfers, vetted resorts and 24x7 support you always have a trusted team nearby.

It is green and quiet, but seas can be rough, visibility for diving drops and ferries are occasionally disrupted, so we generally recommend the October-to-May window for the best experience.

Carry sufficient cash, as ATMs and card acceptance are limited outside Port Blair, and mobile and internet coverage can be patchy on the remoter islands — part of their charm. Resorts usually have Wi-Fi.

Fresh seafood is the highlight — grilled fish, lobster and crab — alongside coconut curries and Bengali and South Indian dishes. Vegetarian thalis and continental options are available at resorts.

Yes — the Andamans pair well with a Chennai or Kolkata stopover, and make a wonderful beach finale to a South India trip through Kerala. We design smooth connections.

Light beachwear and cottons, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, water shoes for the reefs, any dive certification cards, and some cash. We send a tailored packing note.

Yes — from renowned eco-luxury retreats on Havelock to premium beachfront resorts on Neil, we design at the top end for travellers who want seclusion and comfort.

Completely — islands, pace, resorts, diving and dining are all shaped around you, ferries included. There are no fixed departures; your Andaman trip is authored from scratch.

Peak season (October to May) and the best island resorts and ferries book up early, so two to three months ahead is ideal. We can also arrange shorter-notice trips where availability allows.

A named designer plans your journey, a dedicated tour manager and 24x7 support line are with you throughout, and every booking comes with a GST invoice — so island logistics are never your worry.
