About this journey

Kaziranga holds about two-thirds of the world’s greater one-horned rhinos, and its open grasslands make them easy to see. This plan uses three different ranges for variety — the Central range at Kohora, the Western range at Bagori and the bird-rich Eastern range at Agaratoli.

We book your jeep safaris, plan the drive from Guwahati and choose a comfortable lodge close to the gates.

Kaziranga Rhino Safari — FAQs

Between roughly November and April, when the park is open. It closes in the monsoon because of the Brahmaputra floods.

Rhino sightings are very likely in Kaziranga, especially in the Central and Western ranges, though no wildlife sighting is ever guaranteed.

Jorhat is closer (about 2 hours); Guwahati has more flights (about 5 hours away). We can use one for arrival and the other for departure.
