Arrive in Udaipur, India’s most romantic city, where palaces seem to float on mirror-still lakes. Settle by the water and let the first evening unfold gently — a lakeside terrace, the call to prayer, the City Palace glowing across Lake Pichola.

Journey deep into the Thar, the land opening into endless gold. By evening the sandcastle fort of Jaisalmer rises from the desert — settle in and watch it glow at sunset from the calm of Gadisar Lake.

Explore the world’s only living fort, its lanes threaded with jharokha-carved havelis like Patwon ki Haveli. As the sun lowers, ride camel-back over the Sam dunes to a luxury desert camp for a firelit dinner under a sky thick with stars and Rajasthani folk song.

A last golden-desert breakfast, then a private transfer to Jaisalmer’s airport (or the overnight train) for your onward journey — the Thar’s silence still with you.
